Thanks to everyone who attended the first community meeting about the University Neighborhood Comprehensive Plan. It is our hope that this blog become a forum for community input and discussion regarding what you feel will improve your neighborhood and contribute to the sustainability of the area in which you live and work.

I want to thank Gene Pearson and his City and Regional Planning students for their presentation last night. We look forward to the upcoming meetings in November and December.
I'm afraid work prevented me frmo attending the meeting. I am very interested in what happened at the meeting. Did anyone keep the minutes? Could they be posted here? Any possibility of a summery? Thanks
The students did a great job at the meeting. One item they should consider is historic preservation, ie: what facilites in the area should be preserved
